High Coast Path

Rose, on the left, is walking the whole of the High Coast Path, all 128 kms, though she is spreading it out over 2 summers, sometimes on her own and sometimes with others. Today Claire, myself and Rusty have joined her.
Here we are sitting on a hilltop just to the north of Ullånger, which you can see in the background. Later in the day we passed Rose's half-way point, 64 kms done, 64 kms to go.
When we finished the day's walk we all drove back to town, where Jan and Ruth had prepared dinner. The stove was burning and we sat round in the warm glow drinking tea and warming up after our slightly chilly walk. The lovely evening continued with G&T, then dinner, and finally a long game of Mexican Train dominoes!
