This is Ken Hutton, top bloke who co-founded Hutton Brothers, an independent Volvo specialist dealer. "The family alternative to the main dealer". Fab people. The showroom and workshops are based in a lovely village in North Yorkshire - it's actually a pleasure to have the excuse to drive out to have your car fixed!

Linda, his daughter and one of the directors of the firm told me the story...

Ken took a customer out for a test drive in 1968 and the customer (driving) overtook a lorry approaching the blind brow of a hill - to be faced with another 30 ton truck coming the other way. This was the result. Hence the title for this Blip.

Ken and the customer simply walked away totally unscathed (though it is rumoured that the air was rather blue!)...
