A good mattock will get anything out

And it does too.

The boys arrived at 8 am and I was on tea duties.
Because they didn't come yesterday they did twice as much work today, cutting chopping and sawing everything plus more at my request. So the right hand side has all been cut down to 4ft high with 2 conifers and a Holly going for good.
The left hand side everything was chopped down and several of the hefty roots are out. Took 4 trailer loads away. At the top of garden the huge overgrown ceonothus has gone, two conifers which were dying plus another conifer and eleagnus trimmed down. I was amazed at how much they did in one day 8 til 4. Lots of tea and coffee and biscuits and chocolate to keep them going.

Day 58 - shoulder

Everything good.

A lovely dry and drying day.
