A handsome prince?

Well, I didn't kiss him to find out, but I thought he was quite handsome as he was. And I know he's a toad, not a frog, but never mind about such small details - I think in any case they are related. He seemed to be trying to hide under the main entrance gate, but was rescued and put in a more suitable spot.

This was my first day back at work after two weeks' annual leave and autumn has advanced, unsurprisingly. I've added an extra photo of the silver birch and the rowans, which you can compare with my last blip of them, taken on 19th September.
