Crow-stepped Gables

We had another wonderful day walking around the beautiful city of Bruges and sampling many of the culinary delights including chips covered in cheese & bacon, ate more waffles in the sunshine (see extra) and the ‘boys’ sampled some of the local beers :-)

I absolutely love the pretty roofs seen all around Bruges and thanks to the wonders of Google I now know they’re called crow-stepped gables or corbie step and are especially common on traditional Flemish & Dutch houses ;)

We had a great time in Bruges and hope to return soon with Little Miss :-)
