Well the first day of the holidays was lovely and sunny if a bit chilly. I thought I should make the most of it and get the plot sorted out for winter. I know the point of the allotment is to grow things and I do get excited when things grow (even if I don't always know what they are!). However I realised again that what I enjoy most is weeding and digging about in the soil. It's a raised bed I have so it just involves having a seat and pottering about which suits me fine.
