Drink

Most Swedes my age has seen these five litre bottles that used to contain Small beer, in Swedish 'Svagdricka', literary weak drink. It was a sweet, dark, malt drink, less than 2.25% alcohol used as a meal drink or something you'd drink when you worked hard and sweated in the fields, then it was fantastic. Mostly it had a surrounding wood construction with a handle, that made it easy to carry. 
My landlord found four of these when he was cleaning up the barn and was going to throw them away but now they are in the hands of friends instead. I kept two myself. They bring back lots of memories but might be hard to find a use for. People from outside Sweden: have you seen these too?

All afternoon has been spent preparing records (cd's) and cd covers, that we are going to sell at our concert next Sunday. Quite a few people still prefer cd's, maybe it's a generation thing, I have a strong feeling they are on their way out of the market.
