To White Moss in the afternoon looking for an autumnal blip. We crossed the river and walked up through the woods. Just through the gateway at the top (the gate was vandalised last year and removed) the wall has decreased in height ........ don't know if it was natural causes or other. It did make it easier for me to get a photo of this derelict barn. 

Then onwards towards Grasmere and a circular route back to the car.
