Parachuting

After an hour into the day it felt like I'd never had a holiday. Two sessions with kindergarten, playground duty, readers, reception class then art with Prep 2 all afternoon.

I read the The Very Hungry Caterpillar to kindergarten and we talked about the cycle... butterfly laying an egg, a caterpillar coming out of it, caterpillar turning into a butterfly...we went through the cycle a few times and then I asked Spike, "What comes out of the egg?" and in his deep, gruff voice he said, "a chicken!"

I decided to play parachute games with reception, as they always love it. I tried to get a few pics but it was difficult to help them lift it and then take a photo. I have had to fiddle around with the processing because you could see the faces of a few children. I will try again another time.

It was very foggy this morning and I could hardly see the field, never mind any bulls, opposite school; that ruled out my bovine photo again, but the forecast for the weekend is very cold with a possibility of snow. So my image of bulls huffing and puffing in the cold could be a possibility then.
