Fish in La Illa Food Court

The best laid plans and all that.  It was a public holiday, but I saw that our local Carrefour was open, as was La Illa shopping centre, so I thought our closest food market in Les Corts might be open too.  We wandered along to buy a few bits and bobs - closed!  However, we took advantage of being that close to El Corte Ingles to buy some new bedding for our guest bedroom, together with some towels.  On a roll by this time, we walked along Diagonal to buy a 60th birthday pressie for our friend Philippa - a bottle of Talisker.  Treated ourselves to a wee selection of cheeses and some nice bread and enjoyed a cheese and wine dinner on our patio.  I do love that kind of dinner! 

I think I'm not up-to-date with blip!!  Hopefully with that done, I can start to comment a bit more now.
