October moon

I usually step out on the porch when I get up in the dark to see the stars and just breathe in the morning air.   Today was a good cool morning and it finally feels more like fall.    The moon was directly in front of the house at 6am so I had to go inside to get the camera with the 300mm lens.    I did not want to mess with the tripod so these shots are handheld but I was proud of my brain for being able to use manual settings to get what I wanted.   Especially BC (before coffee!)   

A good start to the day getting my blip photo first thing!
