Stanger

Last night I finished Riikka Pulkkinen's latest book Vieras (The Book of Strangers). Helsingin Sanomat, the biggest newspaper in Finland, wrote last year that Riikka Pulkkinen has written a strong, contemporary novel about the alienation of life. For me the Book of Strangers gives many feelings at the same: love, anger, joy, sadness, happiness, relief. But that's why I read. I want to feel strong feelings and get out of my everyday life.
