A shower at 8 on the Velux window woke me.

Tea / fire tending and then showers inside before the sun took hold.

Off to the Kirkhouse to fetch bikes; in the end we took one. Tom spent the rest of the day learning how to do wheelies.

Back up to watch Scotland's exit from RWC19 and then a hearty lunch including potatoes dug from the garden.

More outside activities. Bike track around the garden was duly marked out and I then read Iain Sinclair in the sun, occasionally looking up to see they hadn't broken any bones.

As the sun waned the fire got fired up and Back to the Future II / Sleb Hunted sent us to sleep. Nothing to do with fresh air or exercise,  oh no
