Off the wall

**Backblip**

Visited the Pink Floyd exhibition at the V&A, which was a full learning experience because I didn't know that much about them prior to my visit and now I'm keen to hear all their music.

The evening was spent at the Roundhouse, which ties in with Pink Floyd because the band was on the bill of the venue's opening night, an "All Night Rave" to launch the underground newspaper International Times in 1966.

Tonight, Slowdive were on stage and they played a fabulous set. I may have seen them in Edinburgh back in the early 90s, but I can't be sure. Certainly I had an album of theirs at that time. The audience was full of non-English speakers – Italian, perhaps? Are Slowdive big in Italy?
