Altinkum
A morning at home, communicating with the builder, or at least trying to, about the work being done to my apartment as I am not happy - it isn't what I was expecting - not sure what to do about it. Talked to neighbours too, for opinions and ideas. Eventually I put my worries on hold and went with Graham in to Akbuk for late lunch at Akvarium restaurant.
Back home, I braved the pool for a few lengths - best described as 'refreshing'. More conversations with the builder, neighbours, and others, and beginning to feel better about the work - external glass doors to close in the patio which will give me an 'extra room' in cooler weather.
Dinner at Toy restaurant on Altinkum sea front with Graham, after promenading the board walk together for an hour. Tourist season virtually over, but the boats still offering trips, the tat and souvenir shops still pushing their wares, and restaurants still inviting you in - and most importantly, still plenty of folk about, especially ex-pats on this warm and balmy October evening.
