It's Been a Long Day!

We've been travelling home from Ireland for 12 hours now and are knackered!
We were keeping good time until J33 southbound on the M6 when it said 
'Long Delays' due to an earlier accident. The weather conditions were horrendous with torrential rain and poor visibility. I hope it wasn't a bad one but some people were driving like maniacs!
Anyway, we decided to come off onto the A6 - but so did everyone else so we didn't gain much. 
If we hadn't had to collect Bella May from the dog sitter - Viola - we would have been home ages ago.
Viola's husband had made vegan cake specially for us so it would have been rude not to stay and have 2 pieces!
Their little boys Karel and Oskar are getting to know us better now and were happy to chat with us.
When it was time to go Bella went and hid behind a chair! 
Viola and her family were her first family but they had to give her up within a month of rescuing her because little Oskar was so allergic to her. He seems to have mostly grown out of that but did have a slight rash on his cheeks.
They all love Bella and she loves them but she loves us too. She just loves being with children.
Viola and her family are Polish and we have become friends. They are such a lovely family - kind, hardworking, and animal lovers!
