There we are

and waving Goodbye to the ferry, nice and warm from behind the window of our hotel room.

Our doing nothing holiday started by a six kilometer walk to our hotel. After a coffee, we decided to go by metro and bus to see the Angel of the North.
It has probably been a good choice that we have left the bikes at home, because it had started to rain in the meantime.
