Indira Ghandi Airport
Arrived about 3.30 a.m. our time - but about 8.a.m here so we’ve all been a bit out of kilter.. I loved wall display at the airport. It is an installation of a series of giant hands jutting from a wall of what look like copper discs along T3's main concourse. The ‘mudras’ or hand gestures are common forms of expression in all Indian dance forms.
We had a couple of hours rest and then took cycle rickshaws to a shopping centre nearby. It was decorated for Diwali and looked very pretty. We then headed to Hauz Kaus Social where .we had a drink and giant popadum and watched from the top balcony the sun set over the lake.
