Academic Fliers

...have their quarters in one of the old machine halls of Darmstadt Technical University. To the left is the new building of the University Library. We payed a visit to the newly opened Arno Schmidt exhibition, on the right of the fliers. The exhibition centres on Schmidt’s years (end of the 50s) spent in town, and the extra shows one of the interesting contemporary photos, here showing a class 65 loco passing by the Art Deco Lions’ Gate.
