Midday sun...

The day dawned bright, sunny and wildly windy, so MrM and I downed tools late morning and went for a short walk there. Just through the woods and round the path, but it was good to be outside for a while. No squirrels to be seen, but there were lots of fungi in the woods and by the path - the large one the extra was the size of a dinner plate.

Home to put the final coat of paint on the shelves for the unit in the living room, and then it was a massive tidy up and cleaning session before John C arrived for a meal - one of MrM's amazing curries followed by summer pudding. A lovely evening.
