Dubrovnik Day 3

Today it was a wander round the Old Town in Dubrovnik, starting with a walk round the old City Walls before nipping down into the town centre for a quick pizza and then on to the boat for a 15 minute cruise to Lokrum to wander amongst the peacocks and rabbits(!) and find the hidden lagoon, see extras.  Apparently this was the island that a lot of GoT was filmed on, though apart from the obligatory gift shop, you would never of known 

We finished off the day with probably the best grilled chicken I have ever had, goodness knows what they fed the bird on that provided such a moist and chunky slab of chicken!

Dubrovnik suffered terribly during the war in 1991-92 but you would never tell that almost a third of the buildings had suffered structural damage as a result of a direct hit or shrapnel.  The restoration has been sympathetically completed in tune with the original architecture.
