A moment of quiet during a busy day

Lou and I went in this cafe for a cup of tea today. It was surreal, very silent, people engrossed in papers and drinking coffee. No music. But I enjoyed it. It was relaxed and comfortable. It was warm and friendly, the staff and customers seemed to know each other - it made me smile. Today is a crisp winters day and I like the fact this picture captures different people beginning the New Year, taking time out from their individual, busy lives.
