It's a jungle out there

This is the view from the balcony of our apartment in Kuching, Sarawak. We have lived in this apartment for 3 years now, and our 2 little girls were born when we were living here. We love being surrounded by all the trees and at the same time being practically in the city centre. The apartment is a rental and is getting to be too small for our family of 4, and there isn't enough parking spaces for cars, but we put up with all that so that we can enjoy the peaceful and lush green environment. We've seen quite a few monkeys, lots of squirrels, birds, butterflies, frogs, lizards, and many different types of insects in the trees and garden.
