Cheeky......

....starling with nesting material.

I was wandering round the garden before the cloud rolled in, when I spied this starling up on the roof waiting for me to disappear before he flew under the eaves with said twig. I had the macro lens on board and didn't really expect to get a decent shot so was delighted with the fan of the wing even though the bird appears eyeless!!

Sunday.....lovely blue sky this morning, cloudy afternoon. We've been camped in front of the TV for most of the day watching the Supercar Championship at Bathurst, something we do each year for one day.
