The last day of the Christmas hols so me and the madre headed to London. First to Sloane Square for a mooch around Muji, Habitat and Heals. Then a coffee and cake, and a trip to the Saatchi.

Tube to Westminster, and a walk along a gloriously unbusy Southbank. Took a detour to Tas for a quick bite, then carried on to the Tate. Got some bargain(ish) books in the sale. Walked back to Waterloo - the sky was shades of purple and the river looked amazing.


Booked a holiday in the evening. It was so stressful - I'd done everything, pressed OK on the visa verification and the website crashed. Spent ages on hold with the bank to find out if the money had gone. But YAY HOLIDAY.
