What a day!

You ever have one of those days that is so full, fun and exciting that you can't choose which photo to post?! Well what a great Saturday!

We started the day early with a Park Run (no that's deceiving - they did that, I walked and took photos!). We then went to Shrewsbury Market for a delicious breakfast and wander round. Main photo was taken in the Park and the first additional collage holds a few photos from the morning.

We came home for lunch before loading the inflatable kayak into the car and setting off for Wales. We stopped along the Llangollen canal - paddling over the Pontcysylite Aqueduct, along the canal and through a couple of very dark and long tunnels (see 2nd collage). First the boys paddled and then my aunt and I. What a view and if I'm honest slightly scary height that aqueduct has! But it was great fun to paddle alongside barges and wander down the meandering water.

We are off to bed. Here's hoping sunday holds some 'relaxing' adventures for us! We are tired!
