Reflections on a road

What a difference it makes when the sun shines! And after that chilly, sedentary Friday, what a difference it makes to me to get out for a decent walk - I walked over 10 km today without really thinking about it. This is the road along the shore of Loch Striven, still showing signs of the torrential rain of yesterday. The colours were marvellous, and even when the clouds massed over Bute and interfered with the sunset the sky was dramatic and the temperature at the car read 16C. Interestingly, it was only 10C ten minutes later as we drove up the road back to Dunoon ...
