Faneuil Hall, Boston
This hall is often referred to as ‘the cradle of liberty’. When we went in today there was a re-enactment of a meeting held in 1854 concerning Anthony Burns a slave who had been kidnapped by federal Marshalls, he was returned to slavery despite the efforts of the people of Boston. This re-enactment and a short walking tour tracing his journey out of the city were done by the Boston National Historic Park.
Just having a coffee and WI-FI stop before we continue walking the freedom trail.
