Allermuir Hill

Off to see a friend in the afternoon, cycling out there, and hopefully back too. Wont' be back too late as the bathroom fitter is coming around to discuss the replacing the upstairs bathroom.

The morning is pretty dull, and I clear a few things up in the house. I go for a quick walk. Allermuir Hill is looking pretty good from Camus Ave.

In the afternoon, I head out to East Lothian on the bike, out to Musselburgh and Prestonpans, then inland to Seton where my friend lives. We have good chat catching up with lots of stuff.

As the time comes to head home, it starts pouring down. My friend offers me a lift home so I don't get soaked. I am a bit worried as when we hit the bypass, traffic is very slow, so I text ahead to twin 2 just in case the plumber turns up. We get there a bit late. Fortunately the fitter has been caught up in the traffic as well, and is late. Unfortunately the work is not being done next week as I expected, it the end of September.
