Singing in the Rain

It hasn't stopped raining all day, but we wanted to go out so we drove to Bexhill and on the way we stopped at the Custom Cafe which is a biker's cafe/American diner.  It's really cool and has lots of memorabilia inside, including Betty Boop and a full size bike in the window (see my extras).

From there we carried on to Bexhill and had a stroll along the seafront in the rain.  Luckily it wasn't windy so we were able to use the umbrella and it provided a good bit of colour on a grey day!  Before heading home we went to the Bexhill museum which was interesting as Bexhill is the birth place of British motor racing, so despite the weather we've had a lovely day.

In other news, Ibby (AKA Freddie the air steward) messaged me this morning to say that he'll be in Gatwick in a couple of weeks and asked if I fancy meeting for breakfast or lunch - luckily it's a Thursday and one of my days off work so I've said yes.  Alan isn't worried about me meeting up with him as Ibby's looking for a man not a woman :-)  I'm not sure yet whether he's going to come down to Brighton or if I'll catch the train to Gatwick, we've said we'll make arrangements a couple of days before, but I guess it depends on his flights.  I think he'd like to come to Brighton though.

And even more exciting, Alan's booked a few days away in Budapest for my birthday in January, so that's something to look forward to through the winter months.
