What's in a wine glass ?

I've had some different tasting wines in a wine glass but never a spider plant. Our friend Martin planted this up for us when it was a tiny baby plant. Now it is growing well.

It's my contribution to Admirers Silly Saturday challenge. But as she is busy visiting wonderful places in Vienna, she may not have time to peruse the blips. But knowing Admirer's commitment I am sure she will.

Weather wise it could not have got worse today. It has been raining very heavily and the chicken field is awash with mud. The ducks love sifting through the mud and making their clean water dirty.

We visited Arthur and Sally this afternoon for coffee and pastries. It was lovely to see them. Sally is a photographer and she gave us a beautiful art photo that she had taken of our gypsy caravan. She also gave us three of her new greetings cards, which was very kind and generous of her.

Tomorrow Sally runs the London half marathon and has raised almost £1000 for the cancer unit at Royal Marsden Hospital.
We wish her good luck in her run.

A relaxing evening ahead with lots of TV viewing, commencing with Strictly and then a new series of Engranages.
