Redpoll!

This little bird was enjoying a splash of morning sun. Something no one has been able to do for quite some time! There were hundreds of friends dotted through the bushes and i wanted a shot of them all taking off into the sun...........next time!!

ps had misnamed this a hedge sparrow! Luckily those that know a thing or two told me what it was. I am thrilled to live next to so many Redpolls!
