National Coming Out Day

This morning we decorated one of the lifts at work and played Diana Ross, “I’m Coming Out” on a loop. We greeted staff as they arrived and handed out rainbow stickers and lanyards etc.
Staff were quite somber on arriving as 100 yards down the road from the office, Stratford shopping centre was cordoned off as a young lad was stabbed to death yesterday afternoon on his way home from school. London is becoming a scary place and I’m so glad I don’t have young children to worry about and try and keep safe.
Throughout the day staff were going in and out of the lift, sometimes just to dance, and all smiling as they got out.
Tonight we went to Islington to see PP Arnold with Dan, Matt, Simon & Neil which was fun. She’s 73 and looks amazing.
