Up to Skye

Up before dawn and arriving on the Isle of Skye at about 6pm, the scenery out the window and up above has changed a bit.

We left London under heavy dark grey clouds. Then we flew from Luton above them, in the seemingly eternal light blue sky and landed in Inverness with the sky an intense deep blue with an occasional giant white puff floating across it.

A replacement bus service took us to Kyle where we met our host, the Daddy of our lovely SkyeLad. By then, it was grey again and pelting it down.

So now in Dunvegan on Skye. The beautiful lush scenery around reminds me of many Easters not so far away near Mallaig.
