Stashing the rake

Such an important gadget to take along when you're erecting a tent in Australia. They have nasty little sharp hooks that grow at ground level, and cause mayhem & tears, to feet and material, and anything else they come in touch with. M. has this folding rake, which he's fixing on the roof of the Prado, together with the spade and the high-rise jack. Necessary stuff!

He also has a fibreglass mat, on the top of which I erect my tent. That stops the ThreeCornerJacks too! Nasty wee b's! We don't have anything like these ground thorns. And I know that our NZ sandflies are an absolute pain, but the flies in Australia this year are appalling.
