The 62nd Monterey Jazz Festival

No mistaking where you are when you see this sign near the entrance. It was a great festival with some very memorable shows. My favorites were a group led by Diana Krall and a group that played songs from the hit 1986 Double Vision album, featuring Bob James on piano, David Sanborn on sax, and Marcus Miller on bass guitar.
