Stash

It was wet, I am still full of cold, so no long treks over the headland or round the cliffs today for Ollie and me. Instead we gentle fossicking about on the beach at low tide to see what we could see.

As we came up the shore I spied this collection of fish boxes, floats, old creels and lengths of rope under a big hebe bush. From the road side, you can't see them at all, and they are only visible from the beach now because so many of the leaves have been stripped from the bush over the winter. They have obviously been there a long time. Between them, the hebe and the grass have grown through them and entwined them completely and they are completely enmeshed in vegetation!

A colourful find on a dull day . . . !
