Soulful Sole

A busy morning cooking for a friend of a friend who’s sick, as I was cooking for him cooked lunch for some of the homeless friends too. Sat and chatted with an elderly homeless guy, Percy, from South Africa...full of stories and having a hard time on the streets...then later with our little group of friends - a couple of news guys amongst them including a man from Belarus as well as the French guy we met the other day and a Greek guy we met on Christmas day. I was glad I’d cooked more than usual!
Home and Danny brought a friend back for lunch, ridiculously we had no food in, ha! So a quick dash to the shop!!
Tonight I was up at church in Sa Penya...I took some pics of this lady’s (Sole, but not Sole of Chele) gorgeous grandson, but I couldn’t resist this quick phone pic taken for our WhatsApp prayer group! She asked them to pray as she just heard she and her family will be evicted (with nowhere to go) on December 11th. Poor poor woman - she has 5 grandchildren living with her as well as one of her own daughters and partner. So we’re praying for some kind of miracle, and justice.

Today I’m grateful for;
1) Photos of a very happy Asha.
2) Sitting nattering with the guys whilst they ate lunch.
3) Friendships with such a wide variety of folk - richness.
