Cava and Cake

After an early start to make sure M&A got away for their flight, I nipped back to bed for another couple of hours sleep.
They made it to Amsterdam ok to find their flight to Tampa was cancelled - rebooked via New York and they are now waiting fir their connecting flight. They will be about 4 hours later than planned but at least they are almost there.
My morning was pleasantly relaxed with more cross stitch before I got ready to head to a friends Cava and cake afternoon in aid of the Chest, heart and stroke association.
Lovely few hours chatting with old and new friends before Mr PHL collected me and we headed to our favourite Chinese restaurant for dinner.
Home in time for a pint or two of water before heading for an early night.
