Evening Chill

Its been a lovely day in the Charente Maritime. Today, I managed to walk Elvis, then head off to town and get more food for him, via the DIY store for fence posts and fittings. After lunch, I built a new gate in the fenced-off area for fruit and polytunnel, using an old iron gate that was hidden inside the old outhouse we are also in the process of clearing and renovating. I sat on the patio, turned on the twinkly evening lights and listened to some classical music.  No wine this time as Mrs SoL and I are trying to shed a few pounds (in my case several kgs).  Ahhhhhhhh..........
