Beach run

The first day of the mid term holidays in Scotland dawned bright and sunny. I had an early conference call, a run on the beach, routine visits to the nurse and the dentist before lunch. I met an old friend in town in the afternoon and it was great to catch up again. We met as Post Graduates at The University of Edinburgh in the mid 80s. The days are shortening and the temperature continues to drop. It could be a long cold winter.
