On the Town

A great concert last night marred only by the bloke sitting behind me who was really into the music and rather strenuously tapped his leg up and down in time to it.  By half way through the second half after two people next to him had moved seats and I had glared at him a few times he finally got the message.  If anyone is interested here is 22 minutes of Al Stewart doing the same concert two days ago at another venue (taken on someone's phone; don't expect quality!).

I couldn't work out how to get the car near enough to the hotel to collect W so she had to hobble back to the car park with me past this statue in the square outside the Town Hall (which is in the background) where we went to the concert.  Driving out of Birmingham is considerably easier than driving in so we got home at a reasonable time after a very nice couple of days.

And right now, we should have been tucking in to some nice pasta and red wine on the shores of Lake Como.  Oh well, it'll happen one day.......
