Stunning.

We spent our last day driving down to the southern tip of Mallorca, and then driving back again because there was literally nowhere to lie on the beach.
We found the most stunning beach a long way from anywhere with no facilities and down a rocky path, just how we like them , but the world and his wife and extended family were there.
The water was the most impossible blue and turquoise, the sand was pale and soft and the rocky cove was beautiful.
If you walked over people’s legs you could find a tiny bit of rock to perch on and that’s what we did. We ate our lunch of pilfered goodies from breakfast and decided to drive back to our hotel and sit on the beach at Port de Pollença. It was lovely . We could have a beer and relax. Not quite as picturesque as the one in the photo but far more civilised.
