Even Malcolm...

...had to don his waterproofs today!

Saddle cover attached to save the Brooks from getting too soggy.

As you'll see in the extra I was really rather damp by the time I got home, to the extent that my shoes sloshed with water as I walked up the garden path. 

It was warm rain though so not disastrous, and there's nothing quite like that feeling when you get home strip off the soggy waterproofs to discover you're bone dry underneath apart from a very rosy glowing face.

Oh, and socks that had to be wrung out in the sink!
