Question of Science

Tonight I attend the 9th annual Question of Science dinner. I was invited by a colleague who is part of the Nobel prize winning team for their work on gravitational waves. Those who know me well know that Science and Mathematics are not my strengths!! I’ve had the privilege of working with astronomers and physicists who have shared their love of Science and hence my invite. As well as a talk by Prof. Sheila Rowan and a presentation to Prof Sir James Hough there was a quiz! our table came a respectable third (and I did know some of the answers!) with another team from the esteemed institution lifting the trophy!
