Tie or Tie Dye

Tuesday fashion means Tie or Tie Dye, a fashion statement at MHS I started many years ago. While not a truly compelling picture, I have stayed true to trying to capture something representative of the time and day, and also a moment that means something special on this final go-round in teaching. Next year, you will probably find me easily on Tuesday in a tie dye, but the chances of being in a tie? We'll see...maybe if I'm...well, I'll just leave it at that. What's funny is that soon after I took this picture, a student came in with a gift - a tie-dyed shirt from The Who, Quadrophenia East Coast tour, 2012-13. Maybe that will be next Tuesday's shot. And by the way, nothing but Jerry Garcia ties.
