Splurge

I spent last night and tonight with daughter in law and Fire Ant and Chunky Monkey. Eldest son is out of state on a job. Both kiddos have been sick, actually all of them plus her mother, who visited last week, have been sick. I came to wrangle kids. FA was supposed to have a field trip with school tomorrow but it was canceled bc of the threat of much needed rain. I stayed tonight anyway. This sweet young woman is a stay at home mom and her hands are FULL with these two!!! We did grocery shopping today. Tonight after the kiddos went to bed, we ordered gourmet grilled cheeses from a local restaurant and pigged our! I am so blessed that she is my friend as well as my dil.
I am so sorry that I am not caught up on your journals. Most days it’s all I can do to keep up with everyday life and do an occasional blip. Not complaining. It is what it is. :—) xx
