Autumn ......

and the nights are drawing in gradually.  Had a productive day cleaning under the bed and all kinds of jobs that I never really want to do .....  When Lucy came round after 6 pm I had specifically chosen my Zeiss 40mm lens as it does a good close focus and I thought I'd try and get some close ups as she was sitting quietly for once ...... I tried some different settings this time and was a bit disappointed.  I had limited auto iso to 800 but set the shutter speed to a fast 500 ....... and so they were all under exposed.  I also realised that I had left the focus limiter on and so it was unable to focus close up anyway ..... live and learn once again!
