Wedge Tailed Eagle

We decided to take our dogs for a walk down to the river. As we were leaving I thought about grabbing my camera but was in too much of a hurry. To my amazement there were two Wedge Tailed Eagles hunting in the paddocks. They were absolutely stunning in flight and I was kicking myself as they flew directly overhead. We walked the dogs home and grabbed our cameras and headed back. They were still there but were very wary of us and kept flying further away each time we neared. Still from a distance I managed to capture this beautiful creature in flight. How lucky are we? The motto of this story, Slow down and listen to your instincts, they are usually right!
