Sussex Downs

Just above the A27 between Falmer and Lewes, this majestic sweep of ploughed and harrowed field accentuates the smooth flow of the South Downs as we ended our walk past one of the Lewes beacons and the knot of trees planted to commemorate the coronation in 1953.
